IT Service Desk I - North American Dental Group (New Castle, PA) in Youngstown, Ohio For Sale
Summary Under the general direction of the IT Service Desk Supervisor, the incumbent will handle high volume tickets in an every growing organization. This position will provide 1st level support to the practice locations, while maintaining excellent communication, hardware and software technical support, and main level ticket tracking in an efficient and effective manner. Essential Duties
Coordinates and/or perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
First line help desk; resolve basic level 1 and some level 2 issues in a Windows environment
Troubleshoots hardware onsite & accurately determine replacement parts
Remotely troubleshoot issues relating to hardware and software
Troubleshoots software issues (MS Office, Email, and proprietary software applications)
Performs post-resolution follow-ups to help requests
Researches issues and resolves technical problems
Implements and maintains operational documentation and procedures
Issues the daily operations status report and project status reports as required
Completes technical and special projects as assigned
Experience/Requirements
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
The ability to multitask in a fast passed growing environment
Healthcare experience preferred
Office 365 knowledge
A+/Network+/Microsoft Certifications preferred
Experience with network troubleshooting is a must
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (SKAs)
Ability to install peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.)
Ability to reload computers with Windows OS's
Ability to prep IT equipment for installations
Education/Training
Associates or Bachelors degree in technical training
Physical/Environmental
Sitting for long periods of time, completing tasks using a computer and other office equipment
Position requires frequent talking, hearing, and vision with moderate standing, walking and reaching
May require lifting up to 20 lbs.
Job position responsibilities are generally performed in a business office environment with computers, printers and phones
Availability to travel local, national and overseas.
